This is a memorial in a Shinto shrine outside the largest fish market in the world- in Tokyo- to offer peace to all the fish that have passed away. I think it’s a nice sentiment to be conscious of the preciousness of life all around. A step further in conscious compassion (which also happens to be the least toxic and most beautifying way to eat!) is to choose to eat foods other than fish and living creatures, as we now live in a world full of choices. It is also important to note that fishing also involves the catching and killing of non-fish catch, such as sharks, turtles and dolphins. With love xo
